Why did you choose drawing?

I have been drawing since childhood, and I never had any doubts about what I wanted to become. But most of all, my formation as an artist was influenced by my second love — computer games. I wanted to be involved in the creation of these interactive worlds no matter what!

And drawing opens up the opportunity to see everything completely differently: the most ordinary things can turn into an interesting visual experience.

What goals do you set for yourself in drawing?

The process of creation itself is important to me: I always have a good time when I draw, even if it's not easy. Drawing is my way of communicating with the world, a drawing is always about some kind of story, the opportunity to tell it through an image, to do something personal but understandable to everyone.

What is important to you in teaching?

I believe that we always learn on our own, but it is important to have someone рядом who can support and guide. I myself went through this path as a student and know how much easier it becomes when there is someone who can help you figure things out, show a shortcut. This allows you to avoid many mistakes and accelerate development.

But what is most valuable is seeing how students, overcoming difficulties, achieve results. At that moment, you understand that the efforts have paid off, and together with them you rejoice in their successes.
