About the curator

"I love to draw very much. And I draw. I love people."

★ Graduated from the faculty of decorative and applied arts of the Ural branch of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. Specialty — metal artist, but, as Alina herself says, «workshops with heavy machines did not attract me, I нежно loved drawing and painting»

★ Taught academic drawing and painting in Perm

★ Upgraded her qualifications at courses in Skills Up School — anatomy, character, 2D graphics, digital painting

★ Created illustrations and graphic elements in the Lakota studio, for example, digital interactives, educational books for museums

★ Worked on two animated series in the Lampibata animation studio

★ Since 2021 — methodologist at Skills Up School. Knows how to structure a course so that it is clear to both the student and the curator, can present theory interestingly and explain complex topics step by step

What area of drawing do you like the most?

I нежно love everything related to anatomy and character. It's interesting that the works in my portfolio are different: casual, semi-realism, digital painting, and drawing. One direction complements the other, the works become stronger, no matter what technique I work in.

What principles is your teaching approach based on?

My principles are simple, like a stick: I love to draw a lot. And I draw. I love people. And I teach. Part of teaching is methodology. And I do it.

Tell us about your creative plans.

Besides growing as a professional, I'm going to stay human first of all — sensitive to myself and others, subtle-ringing, dreaming, diligent and efficient, active.

And no matter what happens around, the bright side of who we are and what we create — that's always our support, air and, how to say it,.. life? We're alive, guys, and we want to live for real.
