1. General Provisions
1.1. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how Skills Up Limited, a company incorporated in Hong Kong (Certificate of Incorporation No. 79371456, Business Registration No. 79371456-000-12-25-5), hereinafter the "Operator", collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of users of the website https://skillsupschool.com (the "Website").
1.2. The Operator processes personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong and applicable data-protection laws. Where the User is resident in another jurisdiction, any mandatory data-protection rights granted to the User under the laws of that jurisdiction also apply.
1.3. By using the Website and providing personal data, the User confirms acceptance of this Policy.
2. Personal Data We Collect
2.1. The Operator may collect: first and last name; email address; telephone number; payment-related information processed through the payment provider (PayPal); and anonymous technical data (cookies, device and usage data, analytics identifiers).
2.2. The Operator does not collect special categories of data and does not knowingly collect data from persons under the age of 18.
3. Purposes of Processing
3.1. Personal data is processed in order to: conclude and perform the public offer agreement, including processing payments and granting access to the purchased courses; communicate with the User regarding orders, support and service updates; send information about new courses, promotions and events (where the User has not objected); and analyse and improve the Website using authorised web-analytics services.
4. Legal Basis
4.1. The Operator processes personal data on the basis of: the performance of the contract with the User; the User's consent; and the Operator's legitimate interests in operating and improving its services.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
5.1. The Operator may share personal data with service providers acting on its behalf, including the payment provider (PayPal), hosting and infrastructure providers, web-analytics providers and course curators, solely to the extent necessary to provide the services.
5.2. The Operator does not sell personal data. Personal data may be disclosed where required by applicable law or by a competent authority.
6. International Transfers
6.1. As the Operator and its service providers may operate in different jurisdictions, personal data may be processed outside the User's country of residence. The Operator takes reasonable measures to ensure an appropriate level of protection for such transfers.
7. Retention
7.1. Personal data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this Policy, or until the User withdraws consent, after which the data is deleted or anonymised, unless retention is required by law.
8. Security
8.1. The Operator takes appropriate legal, organisational and technical measures to protect personal data against unauthorised or accidental access, alteration, blocking, copying, disclosure, distribution and destruction.
9. Your Rights
9.1. The User has the right to: request access to and a copy of their personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of their data; object to or restrict processing; and withdraw consent at any time. Requests are submitted to sale@skillsupschool.com.
10. Cookies and Analytics
10.1. The Website uses cookies and authorised web-analytics services (for example, Google Analytics and Yandex Metrica) to collect anonymous usage data. The User may disable cookies in their browser settings.
11. Changes to this Policy
11.1. The Operator may update this Policy by publishing the new version on the Website. The version in force is the one published on the Website.
